WeYouth's services are designed for young people ages 12–24. We take the privacy of minors seriously and comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
- When a participant under 13 enrolls in our programs, we obtain consent from a parent or guardian prior to collecting any personal information.

7. Health Information and Therapy Services (HIPAA)
WeYouth offers therapy services provided by licensed clinicians. Health information collected as part of therapy services may constitute Protected Health Information (PHI) under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Therapy clients receive a separate Notice of Privacy Practices (NPP) that explains in detail how your health information is used, shared, and protected. That notice governs your health information and takes precedence over this general website privacy policy.
Coaching services (such as MPCC and Connection Coaching) are not therapy and are not governed by HIPAA. However, we treat all personal information shared in coaching sessions with the same care and confidentiality standards.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations:
- Contact and enrollment records — retained for the duration of the service relationship plus 3 years.

- Payment records — retained as required by tax and accounting regulations (typically 7 years).
- Website analytics data — retained per the default settings of the applicable platform (typically 26 months for Google Analytics).
When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
